Defender Risto Mitrevski left Metalurg to join fellow Macedonian Krste Velkoski at FK Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Risto Mitrevski (22) is yet another name to depart Metalurg after Sedat Berisha and Blagoja Ljamchevski. The central defender will join Krste Velkoski at FK Sarajevo.
Mitrevski was presented at the club today along with another signing in Serbian player Miroljub Kostić. He made the following statement, “I’m very happy to come to Sarajevo. My former and now current teammate, Krste Velkoski, told me great things about the city, club and fans. I am looking forward to the first team meeting in mid-June and my first matches for the club.”
Thus far, Mitrevski has played exclusively in Macedonia’s league. He was last a member of Metalurg and prior to that he played with Rabotnichki, Napredok, Teteks and Pobeda. He has been capped by the Macedonian U21 national team, but is still awaiting to make an appearance with the senior national team.
