Stevica Ristic converted a penalty in the 88th minute to hand Suwon a narrow 1:0 home victory over Daegu.

Stevica Ristic played the entire game for Suwon who kept it late to notch three points over Daegu.  With the game appeared heading for a goalless draw, Suwon was handed a break when the referee pointed to the spot in the 88th minute.  Ristic calmly converted the penalty by going to his left while the Daegu keeper dived to his right.  That goal allowed Suwon to remain on top of the table in South Korea with 19 points after the opening eight rounds.
