Ristevski, Stojkov finalize moves to Albania

Stojkov training for his new teamKire Ristevski and Aco Stojkov have officially completed their transfers to KF Tirana and Skenderbeu, respectively.

This is a really bad sign for the Macedonian league when two fringe national team players in Kire Ristevski and Aco Stojkov view the Albanian league as a better alternative for their careers. Ristevski was wanted by Pelister and Shkendija in Macedonia, but he opted for KF Tirana, while Stojkov was wanted by Rabotnichki and Vardar, but he opted for Skenderbeu. Both Ristevski and Stojkov move to their new clubs as free agents.

On Tuesday, each player had his first training after they passed their medicals. Stojkov traveled to Spain where Skenderbeu is holding their winter camp, while Ristevski found himself in the town of Durres, Albania to train with Tirana. For Ristevski, this will be the third Albanian club that he has played for. Previously he featured for Elbasani and Bylis.
