Riste Naumov signs for Slavia Prague

Riste Naumov is born on the 14th of April 1981 in the city of Stip. He started his career at local club FK Bregalnica Stip and in 2000 he moved in FK Cementarnica 55 Skopje where he won the Macedonian Cup in 2003. After winning the Cup he transferred to FK Vardar Skopje where he spent 3 seasons before moving on Cyprus at AS Omonia Leucosias. Last January he moved to another Cypriot team, AS Athnikos Achnas. He played only half a season there, but managed to score 12 goals in 16 matches after which he was transferred to Czech side FK Viktoria Žižkov. After scoring 10 goals in 21 matches in the 2008/09 season, he took the attention of Czech champions and today he signed two years long contract with SK Slavia Prague.

The former Macedonian national team member who has three caps for Macedonia, will have the chance to play in the Champions League if Slavia Prague qualifies from the third qualifying round.
