All the three referees that tried to fix the game between Shkupi and Vardar have been banned from doing their job in the next 2 and 1 years.
On the 15th of December last year the reserves of Shkupi hosted the reserves of Vardar in the B League. Although these matches are unofficial, rumours say that the referees found a way to make bets and decided to make profit by fixing it.
In the first 45 minutes the home side of Shkupi was given 3 penalties, but two of them were missed. During the break both team agreed that there is something suspicious there and decided not to continue the game. Additionally reported the three match officials at the football Federation of Macedonia.
Today the FFM awarded a 2 year ban to main referee Dejan Mladenovski who will also have to pay a €1.000 fine. Assistant referees Sashje Toshevski and Bojan Ivanovski will not be able to act as referees for 1 year and will have to pay a fine of €500. The ban is active from 16.12.2015.
