Rabotnicki defeated reigning champions Shkendija 3:1 in the 5th match of round 3 today.
The derby of round 3 was played today at 20.00 CET and Rabotnicki hosted Shkendija. Before the historic match against S.S. Lazio from UEFA Europa League, Rabotnicki had another very important task ahead of them. And, they lived up to the expectations. Rabotnicki completely dominated and easily won over the defending champions Shkendija. Filip Petkovski opened the scoring in the 13th minute, while Blagoja Todorovski reacted the fastest 10 minutes into the second half when a ball after a quick free-kick reached him and he used Shkendija’s sloppy defense to double the lead. Petkovski scored his second goal of the game in the 60th minute when Milovan Petrovikj sent a cross from the left and Petkovski sent the ball to the back of the net. Shkendija’s players woke up late and all they managed was a consolation goal scored by Redjepi in 79th minute.
The last match from round 3 will be played tomorrow when Horizont Turnovo hosts Teteks.
