The women’s club Nase Taksi defeated PAOK during the second round of games in Group 1 of the Champions League qualifications.
Nase Taksi recorded a narrow 1:0 victory over PAOK at the Mladost Stadium in Strumica. The only goal was scored by Lenche Andreevska in the 42nd minute. This win moves Nase Taksi to a tie with PAOK for second place in Group 1. They now each have three points as PAOK won their first match while Nase Taksi lost the first match 3:1 against Young Boys.
Young Boys has already secured first place but Nase Taksi should have the edge for second place as they will face Goliador in the final group game while PAOK will face the leaders Young Boys. Goliador has been outscored 10:0 during the first two group games so Nase Taksi should fancy their chances to beat the club from Moldova.
Nase Taksi played with the following players: Vitanova, Sakiri, Georgieva (79′ Bogleva), Mileska (62′ Kostova), Arsova, Rochi, Andreevska, Brahimi (c), Stankovska, Spirovska (83′ Dukova), Naceva.
As stated earlier, the next game for Nase Taksi is against Goliador on 16 August 2011 at 17:00 CET.
