Rabotnicki – Anorthosis, Metalurg – Śląsk/Dundee

Europa LeagueRabotnicki against Anorthosis, Metalurg possibly against Śląsk or Dundee United.

Rabotnicki needs to confirm the favorites role against Juvenes/Dogana and seal the win in the second leg to get the better of the clash between Cypriot Anorthosis and Gagra from Georgia. Considering Anorthosis won 3:0 at home, first leg it seems likely that Rabotnicki will battle against Anorthosis for a play-off round.

Anorthosis played against Vardar in season 2007/08 in UEFA cup, first qualifying round when they twice won 1:0 and eliminated the Macedonian side.

If Metalurg manages to pull out positive result in Sofia, they will either get Polish side Śląsk Wrocław or Scottish Dundee United. As reminder, Metalurg played a scoreless draw in Skopje, so a draw with goals suits them fine in Sofia. Śląsk noted a 1:0 win against Dundee in the first leg.
