Gjore Jovanovski is not head coach of Rabotnichki anymore as in a deal with the club’s board decided to terminate the contract on mutual agreement.

Jovanovski took over the Club Hero in April this year and successfully lead them into the Europa League qualifications where got eliminated in the first round. The new season in the top flight started with a disappointing home defeat by Renova but then the team won three games in a row and none expected to follow a crisis.
The club’s president Dragan Popovski confirmed that the bad form was decisive for this decision: “In football the results are those who decide what will happen and having in mind Rabotnichki’s ambitions the current results are far bellow our expectations.”
Rabotnichki entered a winless run of 5 matches in the domestic league. Everything started with the 6:2 defeat by holders Shkendija followed by the 2:0 Old Skopje derby defeat by Vardar, 3:0 by newly promoted Makedonija GjP, home 1:1 draw against other newly promoted side Belasica, and ended with this Saturday’s 1:1 draw at last-placed Shkupi. Durring the series the team did manage to win one game, away to second league east side Tikvesh in the eight-finals of the Macedonian Cup. In the return leg last week they played a 1:1 draw in Skopje.
So far it is unknown who will be hired as next head coach but having in mind that national team break follows the board surely won’t rush to make a decision.
