Potential internationals performances

Lazar Vidić and  Izet Hajrović scored goals for their teams in Bosnia and Switzerland.  Besides them, here is a recap of the performances of players who originate from Macedonia:

Austria, Bundesliga, Sturm Graz – Admira 3:2
Emin Sulimani wasn’t called up by Admira while his brother and teammate Benjamin Sulimani began the game on the bench before playing the last five minutes after replacing Bernhard Schachner.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Slavija – Zvijezda 1:0
Forward Lazar Vidić played from the start for Slavija and scored the game winner in the 35th minute when he converted a penalty kick.

Croatia, T-Com 1. HNL, Dinamo – Zagreb 6:0
Besart Abdurahimi started and played until the 72th minute for Zagreb in the convincing road loss against Dinamo.

England, Premier League, Manchester United – Fulham 3:2
Alexander Kacaniklic played until the 62nd minute at Old Trafford for Fulham when he was substituted by Steve Sidwell.  Meanwhile, his teammate Pajtim Kasami was an unused substitute.

Germany, Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund – Werder 2:1
Aleksandar Ignjovski and Werder opened the new season with a narrow loss.  The versatile 21-year-old exited the match in the 66th minute when he was substituted by Nils Petersen.

Germany, 2.Bundesliga, Eintracht Braunschweig – Paderborn 2:1
20-year-old centre forward Orhan Ademi played the second half for the home side in the home win over Paderborn.

Greece, Super League, OFI – Xanthi 0:0
Marko Markovski started for Xanthi and played until the 76th minute when Macedonian internationals Marjan Altiparmakovski took his place.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała – Wisła Krakow 1:1
Offensive allrounder Ivica Iliev played all 90 minute for Wisła on the right wing.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Novi Pazar – Crvena Zvezda 1:2
Aleksandar Kirovski stayed on the bench for Crvena Zvezda as the #2 keeper behind Boban Bajković.

Slovenia, 1.SNL, Celje – Maribor 0:2
Fullback Dejan Trajkovski played the entire game on Maribor’s left side and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, GAIS – AIK 0:1
Dime Jankulovski was the starting goalkeeper for the home side in this slim loss.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Grasshoppers – Thun 1:0
Orhan Mustafi was an unused substitute for Grasshoppers while his teammate Izet Hajrović started and scored the lone goal of the game in the 44th minute.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Locarno – Wil 0:3
Midfielder Miki Jovanov spent the entire game on Locarno’s bench.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Zorya – Vorskla 1:1
Jovan Markoski played the whole game for Vorskla in the 1:1 draw to Zorya.

USA, Major League Soccer, Columbus Crew – New England Revolution 4:3
22-year-old Dilly Duka played all 90 minutes in left midfield for Columbus who achieved a dramatic win in the high scoring encounter over New England.
