This past weekend was a quiet one for the potential internationals as some leagues are already in the winter break.
Australia, A-League, Newcastle United Jets – Melbourne City 1:2
Ben Kantarovski played all minutes in defensive midfield for Newcastle, while his teammate Ivan Necevski spent the entire game on the bench as the reserve goalkeeper. Meanwhile, 18-year-old goalie James Delianov wasn’t called up by Melbourne.
Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Kortrijk – Waasland-Beveren 4:1
Erdin Demir played the whole match at left-back for Waasland-Beveren as his team was demolished on the road by Kortrijk.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Široki Brijeg – Željezničar 1:2
Vedran Kjosevski was the starting goalkeeper for Željezničar and conceded one goal in the win away to Široki Brijeg. This was a big win for Vedran’s team as they are now on the top of the Bosnian Premijer Liga.
Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Osijek – Slaven 2:0
Haris Hajradinović played all minutes for Osijek as his team netted one goal apiece in each half to down Slaven.
Denmark, Alka Superliga, København – Nordsjælland 1:3
Uroš Matić started in defensive midfield for København and played 68 minutes as his team lost at home against Nordsjælland.
Greece, Super League, Lamia – Panetolikos 2:2
Marko Markovski began on Panetolikos’ bench and was introduced in the 79th minute. Just nine minutes later Marko picked up a yellow card. Eventually, the game ended in a draw.
Serbia, SuperLiga, Čukarički – Zemun 4:1
Goalie Aleksandar Kirovski is still injured, thus he wasn’t part of the hosts matchday squad.
Serbia, SuperLiga, Borac – Napredak 3:3
Jovan Markoski was an unused substitute for Napredak.
Serbia, SuperLiga, Javor – Voždovac 0:3
Marko Pavlovski made the visitors matchday squad, but didn’t play in the win away to Javor.
Switzerland, Super League, Grasshoppers – Lugano 0:1
Nedim Bajrami began in defensive midfield for Grasshoppers and played the entire game. His team suffered an unexpected loss at home against Lugano.
