Veliche Shumulikoski played the whole match for the hosts, wearing the captain armband. This was an important win for his side as they dropped down in the relegation zone and faced direct rivals. With the win, they are out of the dangerous zone at the moment.

Aleksandar Trajkovski started as the lone striker on the place of Ilija Nestorovski. The later was supposed to captain Palermo but suffered a minor injury during the pre-match warm up and was relocated to the bench where his stayed for the entire match. Trajkovski played the full 90 minutes for the first time this season. Exams made later revealed that Nestorovski has a stretched muscle and will have be sidelined for 3 weeks.

David Babunski started and played until the 77th minute when Shō Itō took his place. The winner was scored earlier and David participated in the action as he was the one who passed the ball to the player who assisted. The season ended in Japan with Yokohama finishing on the 5th place thus failing to reach the Champions League places. However, the season isn’t over for David as his team is yet to play the semi-final of the Emperor’s Cup.
