Potential internationals performances

Serdar Aziz (L); photo: sportstv.com.tr This past weekend saw three potential internationals score one goal apiece for their respective teams, while Shkodran Mustafi was sent off with a straight red card for Sampdoria.

Austria, Bundesliga, Ried – Admira 3:0
Benjamin Sulimani played the second half for Admira as he replaced Thorsten Schick directly after the half-time break.

Austria, Erste Liga, First Vienna – Mattersburg 1:2
Vasil Kuleski was an unused substitute for the home side.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Rudar – Travnik 1:0
Lazar Vidić made the start for Rudar and played 45 minutes before Nemanja Pekija took his place at the beginning of the second half.

Denmark, Superligaen, Odense – Aalborg 2:3
Bashkim Kadrii began on Odense’s bench and played the second half after substituting Rasmus Falk Jensen. In the 3rd minute of the second half, he scored a nice goal with a left-footed shot, but it wasn’t enough as Aalborg recorded a slim win on the road.

Denmark, Superligaen, Brøndby – Vestsjælland 2:2
Riza Durmisi played the entire game as a left-back for the home team and also received a yellow card in the 41st minute. The visitors built up a 0:2 lead after 26 minutes, but Brøndby achieved a draw with two goals netted in a span of 15 minutes.

Italy, Serie A, Sampdoria – Chievo 2:1
Shkodran Mustafi, as usual, made the start for Sampdoria and played until the 65th minute when he received a red card for a foul inside the box. Cyril Théréau converted the penalty kick for Chievo, but Mustafi’s team bounced back with two goals with with 10 men. Brazilian attacker Eder scored the equalizer in the 81st minute, while Roberto Soriano notched the game winner in the 3rd minute of stoppage time in the 90th minute.

Italy, Prima Divisione A, Carrarese – Calcio Como 3:0
19-year-old Fatih Ademi came off the bench for Carrarese in the 67th minute to replace Alessandro Gherardi and scored the last goal of the game in the 80th minute with a tap-in from close range.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Rosenborg – Brann 5:2
Erdin Demir played all minutes in Brann’s defense and was shown a yellow card in the 43rd minute.

Portugal, Segunda Liga, Sporting B – Porto B 3:3
Marko Pavlovski was an unused substitute for the visitors.

Serbia, Prva liga, Timok – Jedinstvo 0:1
Sasa Spasovski wasn’t called up for this game by Timok, while Nikola Donevski made a late substitute appearance for Jedinstvo after he replaced Srđan Ajković in the 89th minute.

Slovakia, Corgon liga, Trenčin – Myjava 4:1
Haris Hajradinović got the start for the home side and played until the 88th minute when Damian Baris took his place. Hajradinović scored Trenčin’s second goal in the opening minute of the second half.

Slovenia, Prva Liga, Velenje – Celje 1:0
Amir Bilali played the entire game for Celje in this slim road loss against Velenje.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Norrköping – Malmö 1:2
David Mitov Nilsson was the starting goalkeeper for Norrköping and conceded two goals, whereas Erdal Rakip made the start for Malmö and played until the half-time break when Simon Thern took his place. Rakip’s team came out on top in the end as Emil Forsberg scored Malmö’s game winner in the 84th minute.

Switzerland, Super League, Basel – Grashoppers 1:1
Naser Aliji spent the entire match on Basel’s bench.

Switzerland, 1.Liga Promotion, Zürich II – St. Gallen II 1:1
Eldin Muharemi started on the right wing for St. Gallen II and played all minutes in this road draw against Zürich II.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Genclerbirligi – Bursaspor 1:0
Centre back Serdar Aziz made the start for Bursaspor and played until the 38th minute when Bekir Yilmaz took his spot due to an injury.

USA, MLS, Houston – Portland 1:1
Michael Nanchoff started on Portland’s bench and played the last quarter hour after he replaced Khalif Alhassan.
