Christopher Naumoff was in the starting eleven for Sydney and played as a left winger until the 68th minute, whereas Ivan Necevski was the reserve goalkeeper. On the other side, Ben Kantarovski made the start in defensive midfield and played the whole game. Marko Markovski made a late substitute appearance for the home team as he entered the game in the 87th minute to replace Mohammad Ghadir.
Italy, Serie A, Inter – Sampdoria 1:1
Shkodran Mustafi played all 90 minutes in this draw against Inter. Mustafi’s Sampdoria nearly lost the game, but Renan scored the important equalizer in the 89th minute.
Slovakia, Corgoň Liga, Ružomberok – Trenčín 1:2
19-year-old allrounder Haris Hajradinović started for Trenčín and played until the 63rd minute when he made way for Matúš Bero. This was the last round before the winter break and Trenčín finished on the second position, six points behind Slovan.
