A couple of leagues already started the winter break; thus the number of the potential internationals was not particularly large. Nevertheless, two of them each scored a goal.
Australia, A-League, Sydney – Wellington Phoenix 2:1
Youngster Christopher Naumoff made the start for Sydney and played until the 67th minute when Ranko Despotović took his place. Ivan Necevski was the reserve goalkeeper behind Vedran Janjetović, while the other teammates Alec Urosevski and Daniel Petkovski weren’t called up for this game. With this win, Sydney climbed to the fourth position of the Australian A-League.
Australia, A-League, Newcastle Jets – Melbourne Heart 3:1
Allrounder Ben Kantarovski played all minutes in central midfield for Newcastle at home against Melbourne. The man of the match was Kantarovski’s teammate Adam Taggert who scored Newcastle’s three goals in a span of just 24 minutes.
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Slavija – Rudar 1:1
Lazar Vidić began the match on Rudar’s bench before replacing Marko Tica in the 75th minute. The short action on the field was enough for him to score the equalizer which brought Rudar one point.

Cyprus, Division A, Kouklia – Achnas 0:2
Midfielder Robert Stambolziev made the start for Kouklia and played until the 63rd minute when Brazilian player Wesllem took his place.
Germany, Bundesliga, Eintracht Braunschweig – Freiburg 0:1
Centre forward Orhan Ademi came on for Braunschweig in the 72nd minute but his introduction wasn’t enough as his team lost at home against Freiburg.
Italy, Serie A, Sampdoria – Lazio 1:1
21-year-old centre back Shkodran Mustafi, as usual, made the start for Sampdoria and played until the end of the game in this draw against Lazio. Sampdoria was very close to a win, but Lazio’s Albanian international Lorik Cana scored an equalizer in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Serbia, Prva liga, Borac – Jedinstvo 2:0
Nikola Donevski was an unused substitute for the away team.
Slovakia, Corgon liga, Trenčín – Košice 5:0
19-year-old Haris Hajradinović played the whole game for Trenčín and scored the last goal in the 88th minute. After this easy win against Košice, which featured Macedonian keeper Darko Tofiloski in goal, Trenčín is now in second place of the Slovak league.
