Potential internationals performances

The winter break runs in many leagues therefore only a few players were active. Orhan Ademi had the most success as he played an important role in Braunschweig’s narrow win.

Ivan Necevski was the #2 goalkeeper for the home team behind Vedran Janjetovic while his teammate Daniel Petkovski wasn’t called up for this game.

Austria, Bundesliga, Wacker Innsbruck – Admira 3:1

Forward Benjamin Sulimani began the game on Admira’s bench and came on in the 65th minute when he replaced Daniel Toth.

Cyprus, Division A, Nea Salamis – Olympiakos 3:2
22-year-old Robert Stambolziev made the start for the away team and played the first half in this narrow loss as he was substituted at halftime. Incidentally Mirsad Jonuz, the former manager of the Macedonian national team, currently is the coach of Nea Salamis.

Germany, 2. Bundesliga, Eintracht Braunschweig – Union Berlin 4:3
A thrilling game was held in Braunschweig and Orhan Ademi was in the middle of it playing all minutes. In-between Union had a 1-2 lead but in the 43rd minute centre back Christian Stuff fouled Ademi in the box what resulted in a penalty which was converted by Domi Kumbela. The winter break started and Braunschweig overwinters at the top of the 2. Bundesliga.

Greece, Super League, Aris – Xanthi 0:0
Centre forward Marko Markovski started on Xanthi’s bench and played the last 20 minutes in this goalless draw.
