22-year-old Robert Stambolziev made the start for the away team and played the first half in this narrow loss as he was substituted at halftime. Incidentally Mirsad Jonuz, the former manager of the Macedonian national team, currently is the coach of Nea Salamis.
Germany, 2. Bundesliga, Eintracht Braunschweig – Union Berlin 4:3
A thrilling game was held in Braunschweig and Orhan Ademi was in the middle of it playing all minutes. In-between Union had a 1-2 lead but in the 43rd minute centre back Christian Stuff fouled Ademi in the box what resulted in a penalty which was converted by Domi Kumbela. The winter break started and Braunschweig overwinters at the top of the 2. Bundesliga.
