Goran Popov took part in individual program

Dynamo Kyiv left-back Goran Popov took part in light training today after undergoing a knee operation in late November.

It has been just over two weeks since Goran Popov underwent a knee operation in Italy.  He has shown good progress and took part in an individual program today which was his first workout since the operation.  Obviously, he still can’t train with the rest of his teammates but the knee is responding well and the Dynamo Kyiv doctors expect Goran to make a quick recovery.  Popov should be available for Dynamo Kyiv during the winter preparations in anticipation for the second half of the season in Ukraine.  Goran should also make a full recovery by the time Macedonia plays Peru on 29 February so he is likely to be on the squad for that match.
