Pelister officially announced the signings of three more Bulgarians, bringing in a defender, midfielder and striker to bolster the squad.
When it comes to signing players from abroad this summer, Pelister has mainly focused on the Bulgarian market as they added three more players on Thursday from Bulgaria. Pelister held its summer preparations in Bulgaria and got a chance to scout some of the players that the Bitola based club has now signed. The biggest such example was Brazilian striker Stênho Júnior who joined Pelister from Litex in Bulgaria.
As for Thursday’s signings, they are Martin Kovachev, Dimitar Vodenicharov and Lyubomir Lyubenov. Kovachev is a tall center back who will provide added depth to the position to go along with Pelister’s current starting CB’s in Hristijan Dragarski and Metodija Stepanovski. Vodenicharov is a midfielder who is being brought in after injuries to fellow midfielders Rijad Demić and Gjorgji Mojsov. Lastly, Lyubenov is a striker who will help compensate for the current injury to Blagojche Glavevski, while also provide competition to Marjan Altiparmakovski.
