Goran Pandev will begin his Napoli adventure on the bench as Napoli officially announced the lineups of today’s game against Cesena.

Italian newspapers were reporting that Marek Hamšík would be rested by Napoli manager Walter Marrazzi due to fatigue and either Mario Santana or Pandev would replace him.  Minutes ago, the lineups were officially announced and Marazzi has chosen Santana to start with Pandev on the bench.  It’s likely that Pandev will make a substitute appearance later in the game.  Keep in mind that Napoli has another Macedonia born player in Blerim Dzemaili, born in Tetovo, but he chose to represent Switzerland internationally.  Dzemaili will start in central midfield for Napoli.

Cesena: Ravaglia, Comotto, Van Bergen, Benalouane, Lauro, Parolo, Guana, Colucci, Eder, Mutu, Candreva.

Bench: Calderoni, Ricci, Meza Colli, Rossi, Martinez, Bogdani, Ceccarelli.

Napoli: De Sanctis, Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Aronica, Maggio, Inler, Dzemaili, Dossena, Santana, Lavezzi, Cavani.

Bench: Rosati, Fernandez, Zuniga, Hamsik, Chavez, Mascara, Pandev.
