Napoli played a friendly today against a mixed squad from the Primareva-Berretti, which are youth clubs of Napoli.  Goran Pandev played for the first team of Napoli and scored two goals in the 4:0 victory.  Giuseppe Mascara and Andrea Dossena scored the other two goals for Napoli.  Pandev was injured and allowed to leave the Macedonian national team for the upcoming friendly against Albania on 15 November but he was able to recover and play in today’s friendly for Napoli.  Obviously, this match came against youth players from Napoli but if Pandev was healthy enough to play today, he should of at least stayed with the Macedonian squad.  He is the captain and has to send the right message, even if he could only play a half in the Albania friendly.  For instance, Ivan Trickovski is also injured but he decided to remain with the national team instead of returning to his club team.

In other news, Italian newspapers are linking Pandev with a move to Sevilla.  TuttoMercatoWeb reports that Pandev’s representatives will meet Sevilla sporting director Ramón Monchi tomorrow night in Turin, likely at the Serie B game between Torino and Bari.  Pandev has been in disappointing form for Napoli since joining on loan from Inter and rumors are already starting about his next destination.  Spanish club Sevilla is supposedly interesting in acquiring Pandev either during the 2012 January transfer window or next summer when his loan deal to Napoli expires.
