Attackers Nikola Jakimovski and Mensur Kurtisi each provided one assist for their respective teams.

Nikola Jakimovski returned from his red card suspension for Javor and provided the assist on the lone goal by his team during today’s 3:1 loss against Crvena Zvezda.  In the 8th minute, a Crvena Zvezda player struck a teammate in the back with the ball which deflected perfectly to the charging Jakimovski who then set up teammate Obiora Odita to fire a shot past the opposing keeper.  That gave Javor a 1:0 lead but Crvena Zvezda responded and scored the next three goals to collect all three points.  Jakimovski played until the 85th minute for Javor and also received a yellow card in the 17th minute.

Meanwhile, in Kazakhstan, Mensur Kurtisi had one assist in his debut for Tobol who cruised to a comfortable 4:0 victory over Kairat in the first game of the new season.  On the first goal for Tobol in the 34th minute, Kurtisi made a nice pass to Bauyrzhan Dzholchiyev who was one on one with the keeper before sending the ball to the back of the net.  Kurtisi played until the 68th minute in his league debut.
