After reviewing the conditions on the Gradski stadium in Skopje and the stadiums in Prilep and Strumica as other solutions, Srečko Katanec and the Macedonian football federations have decided the match to be played in Skopje.

Because of the reconstruction on the Gradski stadium in Skopje, the North stand is completely demolished. The Macedonian Football Federation wasn't sure if enough security measure could be provided for the friendly match against Serbia and that's why the coach Srečko Katanec checked the conditions on the stadiums "Goce Delcev" in Prilep and "Mladost" in Strumica as possible solutions.

Besides the constructions works on the stadium, the "Gradski" stadium in Skopje is the best solution because of the airport and hotels in Skopje and the pitch, stands and wardrobe conditions on the stadium.

The friendly match against Serbia will be played on February 6th and the kick-off time is still to be decided.
