Both Nikolche Noveski and Mario Gjurovski did not play for their respective teams on Saturday due to injuries.

Nikolche Noveski was a late scratch for Mainz after sustaining a shoulder injury during warm-umps.  Mainz did not discuss the severity of Noveski’s injury, but he was able to make the bench so maybe he won’t miss much time, if any, in the future.  Noveski’s replacement at left CB, NIko Bungert, filled in nicely on Saturday as he even scored a goal in a comfortable 3:0 victory over Augsburg.

Meanwhile, in Thailand, Mario Gjurovski was also out of action on Saturday due to an injury.  Muangthong United did not mention what was ailing Gjurovski, just that an injury forced him to miss the game.  His absence was felt as Muangthong United needed a late goal in stoppage time of the 90th minute to salvage a point in the 1:1 draw away to BEC Tero Sasana.
