New problems for Ilco, 5 games suspension!

Ilco NaumoskiIlco Naumoski will miss the start of the season in Austria after he has been given a suspension of 5 matches that applies for the Austrian League and Cup. All of this because of unsporting behavior and insulting a referee during a friendly game in June.

On 11th of June, Mattersburg faced Jennersdorf in their first friendly game after the season 2009/10 ended in Austria and Naumoski had some issues with the referee. He insulted him and now the got a heavy suspension. The new sesaon in Austria starts on 18th this month with the round 1 games of the T-Mobile Bundesliga when Mattersburg is facing Austria Wien at the Franz Horr stadion in Wien. Naumoski surely wont be playing at Franz Horr and will miss as well the games against Ried (home), Kapfenberg (away), Wacker Innsburck (home) and the ÖFB Stiegl-Cup round 1 game. He will be back on 21st of August for the league game at Gerhard Hanappi stadion in Wien against Rapid.

This is not the first time Naumoski to get a hard, but well deserved pinishment. Last season he got 4 games suspension and still he keeps getting yellow and red cards regulary, most regulary of all players in the Austrian league. But what is most important, he continues to get involved with the referees. For his own good the Macedonian national team player must stop and caml his temper.

In the 5 seasons spent in Mattersburg, he has received 56 yellow and 5 red cards in 143 league games. For the Macedonian national team he has more yellow cards received than goals scored.
