Nderim Nedjipi signs with Shkendija

Shkendija has announced the signing of veteran midfielder Nderim Nedjipi who comes to the club as a free agent.

Following a rather poor transfer window that saw them lose several key players, the Shkendija management has acted as of late and announced the signing of former Macedonian international Nderim Nedjipi.

“I can confirm Nedjipi will join the club for at least a year.  Should an offer arrive from abroad, we will allow him to negotiate.  He should join the club on Tuesday” – a Shkendija’s spokesperson told Alsat-M TV.

The 28-year-old Nderim Nedjipi last played for Qarabag in Azerbaijan.  Prior to that, he suited up in Belgium for Lierse and two Macedonian clubs in Vardar and Rabotnichki.  Nedjipi originally started his career with Sloga Jugomagnat before moving to Germany where he was a member of both Hertha and Wolfsburg.  However, he did not see much playing time with those clubs, in large part due to injuries.
