Riste Naumov got his first trophy in this exotic island nation by winning the domestic FA Cup.

The experienced 33-year old striker transferred to the Maldives this summer joining the club Maziya from the capital city of Malé. After finishing second in the domestic league, Naumov and his club faced league winners New Radiant in the FA Cup final. Since ater 120 minutes of play the result was still goalless, penalties had to be taken in order for a winner to be reached. Naumov played the whole game, but didn’t take a penalty kick. His club won 4:3 and claimed the trophy.
