John Toshack held the first training earlier today in Skopje but several key players were missing like Goran Pandev, Nikolce Noveski, Goran Popov, and Ivan Trickovski.  Pandev, Popov, and Noveski should be available for the next training scheduled for later today at 18:00 CET.  However, since Trickovski has a game with APOEL today, he will be the last player to arrive and join the national team.

Other players missing from the early training already conducted were Martin Bogatinov and Samir Fazli.  Both are expected to participate in the next training at 18:00 CET.  The manager John Toshack decided to call up attacker Aleksandar Trajkovski who was not originally included in the 22 player squad.  Trajkovski was present at training today and the coaching staff will decide whether he will travel to Moscow for the Russia game.

Once every player arrives, there will be a total of 23 players but Toshack announced that 19 of those players will make the trip to Russia so four players will be dropped and remain in Macedonia.  Tomorrow, Toshack will announce the 19 players who will make the trip to Russia.
