After the interest from Parma, fellow Italian clubs Genoa, Sampdoria and Bologna have also joined in the race to sign talented young keeper Dejan Stojanovic.
Both Italian newspaper tuttomercatoweb.com and Austrian newspaper laola1.at have confirmed the interest of these four Italian teams in Dejan Stojanovic. Stojanovic will turn 18 in mid July and it seems his future team will be based in Italy. He has one more year left on his contract but Lustenau is expected to accept the best offer for his services. The Lustenau president Dieter Sperger stated in an interview with laola1.at that these Italian teams have talked to him about Stojanovic and have also been present during their games to scout Stojanovic. The president of the team also said that he feels Parma has the most concrete interest in Stojanovic among the four teams.
Dejan Stojanovic made 23 league appearances for Lustenau this season after initially starting the season as the backup keeper. He took over as the Lustenau starting keeper in the 13th round of the Austrian Erste Liga and started the next 23 games before he was rested in the final league game of the season. Stojanovic is also part of the Macedonian U21 national team.
