Attacker Mirko Ivanovski scored his third league goal of the season for Arka during today’s game but his team suffered a 3:1 loss against Pogoń Szczecin.
Mirko Ivanovski started for Arka and played until the 65th minute when he was replaced by Janusz Surdykowski. Ivanovski scored the lone goal for Arka in the 31st minute when his teammate Piotr Kuklis made a nice pass to Mirko who did the rest by scoring past the opposing keeper. However, the goal was not enough as Arka suffered a 3:1 road loss against Pogoń Szczecin.
This loss put an end to Arka’s four game winning streak in league play. Arka is now tied for 8th place with 24 points after 17 rounds in the Polish second division while today’s opponents, Pogoń Szczecin, moved to the top of the table with 32 points and a goal difference of +17.
