Mirko Ivanovski scored 15 goals in the recently concluded 2017/18 season in the Croatian top flight. He achieved this by wearing the colors of Slaven Belupo where he also recorded 6 assists. His great form was convincing enough for the board of one of the two greatest Croatian clubs, Hajduk from Split.

“It is indescribable feeling to sign with Hajduk. I am excited that I will be wearing this colors and I am impatient for my first match so I can show that I deserve the confidence that has been given to me. I am aware that the expectations while playing for Hajduk are so high, but mine are also the same height so I am hoping that we will do great things together in the following season.” – said Mirko during his official presentation.

28-year-old forward Ivanovski was member of Slaven Belupo for the past two seasons in which he made 66 appearances in all competitions, scored a total of 27 goals ans assisted 6 times. Previously he was part of Turkish side Boluspor, Hungarian team Videoton, Romanian teams Cluj and Astra, Polish Arka, Czech Slavia and Macedonian teams Makedonija GjP and Pelister with the last being his career starting club.

For the national team he has appeared in 27 matches in which he has scored only one game, a winner against Andorra in 2011. With his last match being in October 2015, he has been ignored since. Maybe a great form in Hajduk will eventually convince coach Angelovski to give him a chance.
