Miranyan scored for Armenia U21 (Video)

Miranyan in Armenia shirt; photo: ArmFootVardar’s player Artur Miranyan has scored an equalizer for Armenia U21 in the friendly against Latvia played on Wednesday.

On of the three Armenians at First League leaders Vardar, 19-year old striker Artur Miranyan scored a goal goal his country in the U21 international friendly against Latvia. His teammates opened the score but the Latvian visitors managed to make a total comeback going with a 2:1 lead on half-time.

In the 58th minute Armenia had a free kick, the ball was passed to Miranyan who just tuned around escaping his marker and with a great shot left the visiting keeper helpless. His tied on 2:2 which later proved to be the final score. Artur played the full 90 minutes.

His club teammate Hovhannes Hambardzumyan is summoned in the senior team for the EURO road qualifier against Albania on Sunday.
