The former coach of Vardar and Slovenian teams Nafta and Maribor, signed with Second League side Belasica from Strumica.
Milko Gjurovski is one of the most famous Macedonian strikers that used to play around Europe in clubs such us former Yugoslav giants Partizan and Crvena Zvezda in the 80s, than Dutch side Groningen where in 71 games scored 28 goals, French Nîmes, Slovenian Olimpija and other. On international level he played for both Yugoslavia and Macedonia. He was famous not only because of his good performances, but also because of his controversies. After he retired in 2006, he managed Slovenian clubs Nafta and Maribor and Macedonian team Vardar from Skopje.
46-years-old Gjurovski, who is born in Tetovo, will try to help Belasica from Strumica to get promoted into the Macedonian First League. To achieve that, Toni Atanasov will be helping him as an assistant coach, while Trajce Georgiev will train the goalkeepers. Belasica has been stuck in the Secong League for 3 seasons, surely not what the famous club from Strumica deserves. Last season they has aspirations for going up, they were doing good in the first part of the season when they were among the top 5, but in the second part they dropped and finished 9th, with 13 points behing the last play-off place.
