After the big mistake of the Football Federation of Macedonia to give license to a club which had no finances and no players under contract, as expected Milano was trashed by Croatian club Slaven Belupo.

As the Macedonian football fans feared, a real disaster happened to Milano today. But this is not a disaster only for the young club from Kumanovo, but for the whole Macedonian football as our clubs are losing important coefficients on the UEFA ranking.
After the leaving of 15 players from the squad after the end of last season, Milano’s board made efforts and brought some anonymous players only to make a squad and play the matches to get 80.000 euros from UEFA. But some of the new players arrived only on couple of days before the match and the coach Erkan Jusuf didn’t even knew their names, so they should be lucky that they were defeated with only 0:4.
As expected, Slaven started attacking from the beginning of the match. Milano managed to held the visitors only in the first 25 minutes and had only one attempt on the opponent’s goal. In the 26th minute after a mess in Milano’s box and a series of saves by the goalkeeper Markovski, the ball came to Csaba Csizmadia who scored for 0:1. The real knockout for Milano happened in five minutes and it came from Aljoša Vojnović. In the 39th minute Vojnović scored for 0:2 with a header after Purić’s cross from the right side. Two minutes later Jurić found Vojnović who scored his second goal and his hat-trick came in the 44th minute after the assist by Vručina.
Obviously, the visitors felt sorry for the demoralized hosts, so there were no big excitements in the second half as in the first 45 minutes. Alimi threatened once and that was all that Milano did. Slaven’s players with a more cautious play controlled the match. The goalkeeper Markovski managed to save few attempts by Šafarić and Vručina and the match ended with the shameful 0:4.
