U21 national team coach revealed the list of summoned players for the historical EURO qualifier against Scotland.
For the first time in our short independent football history Macedonia is on the verge of qualifying to a major competition. The U21 national team must defeat Scotland in the upcoming last qualifying round in order to at least win a play-off place. With a win Macedonia will end up topping the group if Iceland fails to win at least one of their two remaining games.
To face Scotland coach Blagoja Milevski summoned 22 players of which the only debutant is Remzifaik Selmani who imprest the coach with his recent form. Back in the team after recovering from the injury is striker Viktor Angelov who missed the previous matches against Scotland and Northern Ireland. Filip Pivkovski was dropped due to lack of playing time in his team. Injured Enis Bardi is on the list because there is hope that he will recover on time. Bejtulai and Demiri, the two players who are suspended by Shkendija for not signing a new contract are also in the squad.
