Italy, Serie A, Napoli – Cesena 0:0
Goran Pandev played all 90 minutes for Napoli and was the most threatening player throughout the game. Pandev came close in the 24th minute but his effort from the edge of the area went just inches wide of the right goal post. Three minutes later, Pandev attempted a powerful left footed shot towards goal but it was straight at the keeper who punched the ball to avert the danger. Goran almost scored the game winner in the 80th minute but his shot was just parried by the Cesena keeper and it went for a corner. However, Pandev did score a goal in the 90th minute but it was disallowed by the assistant referee for an apparent handball by his teammate Christian Maggio.
