Midweek internationals performances

Ivan Trickovski and APOEL played their first league game of the season, Nikola Gligorov made his debut for Alki, while Bajram Fetai and Lyngby were eliminated from the Danish Cup.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, AEK Larnaca – APOEL 0:0
Ivan Trickovski played the entire game for APOEL who began the Cypriot season with a goalless draw against AEK Larnaca.  Trickovski had his best chance in the 30th minute when he combined nicely with one of his teammates before firing a shot from the edge of the area but the shot was saved by the opposing keeper.  The result proved irrelevant later in the day as APOEL defender Christos Kontis suffered a heart attack after the game and was forced to retire.  He was taken to a hospital after reporting chest pains following the game and doctors said he had a mild heart attack and would no longer be able to play football.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Omonia – Alki Larnaca 4:1
Nikola Gligorov made his debit for Alki Larnaca by starting on the bench before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Jonathan Aspas.  His club was losing 3:0 at halftime and Alki did play better in the 2nd half and even scored a goal but they still suffered a heavy 4:1 defeat against Omonia.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, KAMAZ – Sibir 1:1
Velice Sumulikoski did not play for Sibir as he was with the Macedonian national team.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Mordovia – Sibir 1:0
Velice Sumulikoski once again did not play for Sibir as he was with the Macedonian national team.  The teams of the Russian second division played two games within four days during the midweek period with games on Monday and Thursday.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Torpedo Moskva – Gazovik 1:1
Artim Polozani was not called up by Torpedo Moskva.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Torpedo Moskva – Ural 0:1
Artim Polozani was not among the 18 players called up by Torpedo Moskva.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Volgar-Gazprom – Dynamo Bryansk 1:5
Nikola Tonev played all 90 minutes for Volgar-Gazprom who suffered a heavy home defeat against Dynamo Bryansk.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Volgar-Gazprom – Shinnik 1:1
Nikola Tonev started on the bench for Volgar-Gazprom before he entered the game in the 73rd minute replacing Artyom Pershin.

Italy, Serie B, Varese – Crotone 0:0
Stefan Ristovski was not among the 18 players called up by Crotone.

Denmark, Ekstra Bladet Cup, Roskilde – Lyngby 1:1  (Roskilde won 3:1 on penalties)
Bajram Fetai started for Lyngby and played into the 2nd half when he was replaced by Bror Blume.  Lyngby continued their bad form by being eliminated from the Danish Cup by second division side Roskilde.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Delémont – Aarau 2:2
Aco Stojkov did not play for Aarau because of an injury.

Czech Republic, Ondrášovka Cup, Ovčáry – Viktoria Žižkov 0:2
Ilija Nestorovski was not with Viktoria Žižkov so he did not play as he was training with the Macedonian U21 national team.  With the win, Viktoria Žižkov advanced to the next round of the Czech Cup.

Czech Republic, Ondrášovka Cup, Zbrojovka Brno – Mladá Boleslav 1:3
Vladimir Dimitrovski did not play for Mladá Boleslav who advanced to the next round of the Czech Cup thanks to a hat trick by Jan Chramosta.

France, Coupe de la Ligue, Montpellier – Amiens 2:2  (Montpellier won 4:3 on penalties)
Vlade Lazarevski was not called up by Amiens as he was with the Macedonian national team.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Emmen – Oss 1:3
Antonio Stankov was an unused substitute for Oss.
