Trickovski had two assists; photo: 24sports.com.cyIvan Trickovski had two assists for APOEL as his side reached the group stages of the UEFA Champions League, Stevica Ristić scored another goal for Suwon to propel them to the domestic cup final, while Agim Ibraimi and Maribor eliminated Rangers from the Europa League.

UEFA Champions League, Play-off round, APOEL – Wisła 3:1
Ivan Trickovski played all 90 minutes for APOEL who reached the group stages of the Champions League with the 3:2 aggregate victory over Wisła.  Trickovski played on the right wing as the APOEL manager decided to start Brazilian Gustavo Manduca on the left wing.  Ivan was active and provided two assists, both to his teammate Ailton Almeida.  First, in the 54th minute, Trickovski played a good ball to Ailton Almeida who scored with a sliding attempt from close range into an empty goal.  The second assist for Trickovski came in the 87th minute when he made a pass from inside the area to Ailton who turned and slotted the ball past the opposing keeper.  Trickovski also attempted a couple of shots but they were saved by the visiting keeper.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off round, Dynamo Kyiv – Litex 1:0
Goran Popov started on the bench for Dynamo Kyiv before he entered the game in the 53rd minute replacing Ayila Yussuf.  Dynamo Kyiv collected a narrow victory thanks to a goal from striker Artem Milevskiy who scored with a header following a corner kick that was taken by Oleksandr Aliyev.  The Ukrainian club advanced to the group stages of the Europa League after winning 3:1 on aggregate.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off round, Stoke City – Thun 4:1
Muhamed Demiri started for Thun and played until the 66th minute when he was replaced by Andreas Wittwer.  English Premier League club Stoke City proved too much for Thun who were eliminated 5:1 on aggregate over the two games.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off round, Karpaty – PAOK 1:1
Martin Bogatinov played from the start for Karpaty and conceded one goal in the 55th minute.  His team was eliminated from the Europa League by losing 3:1 on aggregate.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off round, Rangers – Maribor 1:1
Agim Ibraimi started in right midfield for Maribor in a 4-4-2 formation and played the entire game as his side eliminated Scottish giants Rangers from the Europa League.  Ibraimi also received a yellow card in the 64th minute as the referee of this match was Macedonian Aleksandar Stavrev.  Maribor won 3:2 on aggregate after winning the first leg 2:1.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off round, Partizan – Shamrock Rovers 1:2
Aleksandar Lazevski remains out with an injury for Partizan.  It was 1:1 after 90 minutes so it went into extra time considering the first game also ended 1:1.  During the extra time, the visitors converted a penalty in the 113th minute which was enough to eliminate Partizan from the competition.

UEFA Europa League, Play-off round, Dinamo Bucureşti – Vorskla 2:3
Kristijan Naumovski was not called up by Dinamo Bucureşti as Cristian Bălgrădean started in goal while George Curcă was on the bench as the #2 keeper.  Dinamo Bucureşti was eliminated from the Europa League by losing 5:3 on aggregate over the two games.

South Korea, K-League Cup, Suwon – Ulsan 3:2
Stevica Ristić played the entire game for Suwon who advanced to the final of the South Korean Cup.  Ristić scored the first goal for Suwon in the 76th minute with a header following a free kick after he was poorly marked in the box.  Suwon scored another goal in the 82nd minute so the game went into extra time since it was 2:2 after 90 minutes.  At this time, Suwon used their one man advantage and scored the game winning goal to advance to the domestic cup final where they will face Seongnam.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Sibir – Alania 3:0
Velice Sumulikoski started for Sibir and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Aleksandr Makarenko.  Sumulikoski also received a yellow card in the 67th minute as his side recorded a convincing victory against the current leaders in the Russian second division.

Artim Polozani started on the bench for Torpedo before he entered the game in the 90th minute replacing Sergey Belousov.

Russia, Perviy Divizion, Yenisey – Volgar-Gazprom 0:0
Nikola Tonev started at left CB for Volgar-Gazprom and played all 90 minutes as he was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet against Yenisey.

Croatia, Hrvatski Nogometni Kup, Istra 1961 – Mladost Ždralovi 7:0
Armend Alimi did not play for Istra 1961 who recorded an easy victory to advance to the next round of the Croatian Cup.

Bosnia, Premijer Liga, Željezničar – Zrinjski 3:3
Perica Stanceski was an unused substitute for Željezničar.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Örebro – Mjällby 0:2
Daniel Ivanovski started on the bench for Mjällby before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Jesper Westerberg.  This was Ivanovski’s first appearance for Mjällby since returning from a broken collarbone injury that sidelined him for several months.
