Midweek internationals performances‏

Vance Sikov (L) against APOELEdin Nuredinoski and Vance Sikov with their club Ethnikos Achnas picked up an upset victory away to APOEL, Stevica Ristić, Aco Stojkov, and Besart Ibraimi each scored goals in friendlies for their respective teams, while Dusan Savić is on trial at Banants where he scored a goal in a friendly against Naftan.

Italy, Serie A, Fiorentina – Inter 1:2
Goran Pandev was an unused substitute as his Inter played the last postponed game and now is on 5 points behind table leaders Milan.

UEFA Europa League, Round of 32, Beşiktaş – Dynamo Kyiv 1:4
Goran Popov started on the bench for Dynamo Kyiv before he entered the game in the 72nd minute replacing the injured Taras Mykhalyk.  Mykhalyk is a CB so the substitution shifted Leandro Almeida from LB to CB so Popov could play LB for the remainder of the game.  Popov had one shot on goal in the 85th minute but his free kick from about 30 meters lacked power and was wide of the goal.  This was an impressive result for Dynamo Kyiv in the first leg of their Europa League matchup against Beşiktaş as they not only won but scored four away goals which puts them in a good position to advance to the next round of the competition.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, APOEL – Ethnikos Achnas 0:1

Both Boban Grncarov and Ivan Trickovski played the entire game for APOEL as did Edin Nuredinoski and Vance Sikov for Ethnikos Achnas.  APOEL suffered their first home loss of the season and Trickovski was fairly quiet while Grncarov had two chances to equalize late in the game.  In the 90th minute, Grncarov showed great skill to control the ball but his effort was just wide of the goal and then in the fifth minute of stoppage time, Grncarov slid from close range but just missed connecting with the ball after a good cross from the left by Gustavo Munduca.  For Ethnikos, Nuredinoski kept a clean sheet and made two good saves in the 47th minute denying Esteban Solari and in the 66th minute when he saved a powerful shot from outside of the box by Manduca.  His teammate Vance Sikov started at CB and was solid defensively while the other two Macedonians on Ethnikos, Stojan Ignjatov and Filip Ivanovski, were not called up because of injuries.

Cyprus, Cyprus Coca Cola Cup, Alki – Enosis Neon Paralimni 4:3
Petar Milosevski returned from his injury for Enosis Neon Paralimni and played from the start but it was not a good return as he conceded four goals, Zoran Baldovaliev also got the start and played the 1st half before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Radovan Krivokapić, while Bojan Markoski did not play.  With the loss, Enosis was eliminated from the Cypriot Cup by losing 5:3 on aggregate over the two games.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Sheriff – CSCA-Rapid Chişinău 4:0
Jasmin Mecinovik made his debut for Sheriff by starting on the bench before he entered the game in the 75th minute replacing Miral Samardžić.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Dacia – Milsami 0:0
Goran Dimovski played the entire game for Dacia as he also made his debut after joining the club during the January transfer window from Macedonian club Rabotnicki.

Friendly, Sibir – Rudar Pljevlja 1:2

Velice Sumulikoski played all 90 minutes for Sibir.

Friendly, Levski – Viktoria Plzeň 1:2
Darko Tasevski started for Levski and played until the 60th minute when he was replaced by Aleksandar Aleksandrov.

Friendly, Levski – Oţelul Galaţi 2:2
Darko Tasevski started for Levski and played until the 74th minute when he was replaced by Daniel Dimov.  This friendly concluded their preparations in Cyprus and they will return to Bulgaria tomorrow to get ready for the 2nd half of the season.

Friendly, Amkar – Sarajevo 2:2
Stevica Ristić played from the start for Amkar and scored the second goal for his team in the 90th minute to equalize the score at 2:2.

Friendly, Amkar – Oleksandria 0:1
Vlade Lazarevski played the entire game for Amkar Perm as he is still with the team while Stevica Ristić did not play in this game as Amkar played two friendlies during the day and Ristić featured in the other game against FK Sarajevo.

Friendly, Partizan – Al-Jazira 4:2
Aleksandar Lazevski started on the bench for Partizan before he entered the game in the 63rd minute replacing Joseph Kizito.

Friendly, Partizan – UAE Border Security Headquarter FC 15:0
Aleksandar Lazevski played the 2nd half for Partizan as they played their last friendly in Dubai by scoring 15 past UAE Border Security Headquarter FC.

Friendly, Vojvodina – Radnik Bijeljina 3:0
Daniel Mojsov played the 1st half for Vojvodina.

Friendly, Rad – Příbram 2:1
Aleksandar Todorovski played from the start for Rad.

Friendly, Thun – Aarau 3:1
Muhamed Demiri played the 2nd half for Thun where his team came back from a goal down to score three goals and record the victory while Aco Stojkov played the 1st half for Aarau and scored the only goal for his team in the 21st minute.  Stojkov’s teammate and fellow Macedonian Aleksandar Mitreski did not play because of a minor injury.

Friendly, Sevastopol – Spartak Nalchik 1:1
Besart Ibraimi started for Sevastopol and played until the 57th minute when he was replaced by Aleksandar Mladenov.

Friendly, Sevastopol – Górnik Zabrze 3:0
Besart Ibraimi played the 2nd half for Sevastopol and scored the third goal for his team in the 62nd minute.  Ibraimi also picked up a yellow card in the 81st minute.

Friendly, Banants – Naftan 2:1
Dusan Savić is currently on trial at Banants whose manager is Macedonian Stevica Kuzmanovski and he got the start and played until the 78th minute when he was replaced by Khachatur Avetisyan.  Savić scored the game winning goal for Banants in the 68th minute to give his side a narrow win.

Friendly, Ruch Chorzów – Ventspils 0:1
Hristijan Kirovski played the 2nd half for Ruch Chorzów but he will not be signing with the Polish club as he didn’t show enough during his trial and Kirovski has already left the team and returned to FK Skopje where he will stay for the remainder of the season.

Friendly, Debrecen – Horsens 1:3
Mirsad Mijadinoski played the 2nd half for Debrecen.
