Good performances for some of our internationals in the European competitions as Ibraimi, Muarem, Gjorgjev and Trichkovski scored goals. Some advanced, others faced elimination.
UEFA Champions League, Qarabağ (AZE) – Viktoria (CZE) 1:1 (1:1 agg.)
Muarem Muarem brought the needed lead in the 28th minute to the Azeri champion, but Viktoria scored 5 minutes from time and advanced thanks to the away goal rule. Muarem was substituted in the 70th minute when Afran Ismayilov took his place. His team will now enter the Europa League play-off round.

UEFA Champions League, Crvena Zvezda (SER) – Ludogorets (BUL) 2:4 AET (4:6 agg.)
David Babunski was not even on the bench for the Serbian champion, while Daniel Avramovski isn’t registered for playing in an European competition. Their team got eliminated in front of their own fans with two golas in the extra time and will now enter the Europa League play-off round.
UEFA Champions League, Young Boys (SWI) – Shakhtar (UKR) 2:0 (2:2 agg.) 4:2 p.s.o.
Taulant Sulejmanov isn’t registered to play in an European competition for Young Boys. His teammates managed to eliminate the Ukrainian champion on penalties and enter the play-offs.
UEFA Champions League, Celtic (SCO) – Astana (KAZ) 2:1 (3:2 agg.)
Agim Ibraimi started for the Kazakh champion and scored a nice long distance goal in the 62nd minute equalizing on 1:1. He played the whole game and picked up a yellow card in the injury time after a brawl when two of his teammates were sent off as Celtic was awarded a penalty that helped them eliminate Ibraimi’s team.

UEFA Europa League, Slovan Liberec (CZE) – Admira (AUT) 2:1 (4:1 agg.)
Eldis Bajrami played the full 90 minute for the Austrian side and ended the European adventure in the Czech Republic.
UEFA Europa League, Spartak Moskva (RUS) – AEK Larnaca (CYP) 0:1 (1:2 agg.)
Both Ivan Trichkovski and Daniel Mojsov started for the visitors and played the whole match. Trichkovski even scored the game winner in the 89th minute that sent the Cypriot team in the play-offs. The elimination of the Russian giant is a big surprise.

UEFA Europa League, Apollon (CYP) – Grasshoppers (SWI) 3:3 АЕТ (4:5 agg.)
Nikola Gjorgjev was on the bench for the Swiss team and got a chance in the 91st minute as the match went on extra time since Apollon won with the same score as Grasshoppers in the first leg. Gjorgjev took the place of now former Swedish national team player Kim Källström. In the 103rd minute he managed to assist when Caio scored for 3:2, an important goal that sent the Grasshoppers in the play-offs thank to the away goal rule. In the injury time just before the final whistle Gjorgjev even scored a goal to tie the score on 3:3.

Aleksandar Todorovski played the full 90 minutes for the Polish side who got eliminated after the crucial defeat at home in the fisrt leg.
UEFA Europa League, Dinamo Minsk (BLR) – Vojvodina (SER) 0:2 (1:3 agg.)
Strahinja Krstevski wasn’t summoned by Vojvodina who after the home draw managed to win on the road and book a place in the play-offs.
UEFA Europa League, Rijeka (CRO) – Başakşehir (TUR) 2:2 (2:2 agg.)
Leonard Zhuta played the whole game, while Stefan Ristovski did almost the same as he was taken off in the 2nd minute of the injury time when Dario Čanađija took his place. Their team failed to use the home field advantage and got eliminated on away goal.
UEFA Europa League, West Ham (ENG) – Domžale (SLO) 3:0 (4:2 agg.)
Zeni Husmani came in instead of Lucas Mario Horvat in the 62nd minute when West Ham was already leading 2:0.
Australia, FFA Cup Round of 32, Newcastle Jets – Melbourne Victory 1:3
Daniel Georgievski played the whole game helping his team to advance to the Round of 16 in the Australian Cup where they actually are the title holders. For the home team full 90 minutes played Ben Kantarovski, an Australian player of Macedonian origin.
Finland, Veikkausliiga, PK-35 – Ilves 1:1
Kosta Manev wasn’t summoned by the home team.
Iceland, Úrvalsdeild, Vestmannaeyjar – Fjölnir 0:2
Daniel Ivanovski started on the bench and was introduced 6 minutes from time instead of striker Ólafur Páll Snorrason as his team had to defend the 1:0 lead. In the injury time they confirmed the win. After three winless games, Fjölnir eventually won 3 points but their title rival Hafnarfjörður seized the occasion to escape on plus 5.
Malaysia, Liga Super, Kelantan – Felda United 1:1
Bazhe Ilijoski played the whole game for Kelantan.
Slovakia, Fortuna Liga, Dunajská Streda – Spartak Myjava 0:1
Darko Tofiloski was between the posts for the home side and was beaten once but enough for the visitors to grab the points.
