Lazevski during the Maribor - Olimpija gameGoran Pandev added two more goals for Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup, Agim Ibraimi and Maribor defeated Aleksandar Lazevski and Olimpija in the Slovenian derby, while Mirko Ivanovski played his first competitive game for Videoton.

Vanche Shikov recovered from his flu to play all 90 minutes for Austria Wien. Shikov started at left center-back since Patrizio Stronati was serving a red card suspension. Austria Wien took the initial lead in this game, but Sturm Graz then added two goals to collect the home victory. The winning goal was scored in the last minute of stoppage time in the 90th minute.

Croatia, Hrvatski Nogometni Kup, Dinamo Zagreb – Istra 1961 3:0
Arijan Ademi was an unused substitute for Dinamo Zagreb who won 4:0 on aggregate to advance to the semi-finals of the Croatian Cup.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Olimpija – Maribor 0:1
Both Agim Ibraimi of Maribor and Aleksandar Lazevski of Olimpija played the entire game for their respective teams. Maribor scored the lone goal in the 41st minute when Ibraimi’s corner could not be cleared by Olimpija, thus leading Welle N’Diaye to score from close range. National team manager Boshko Gjurovski was in attendance to watch both players.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Gorica – Koper 1:2
Dejan Peshevski opened on the bench for Koper before he was introduced in the 68th minute to replace Matej Pučko. This was Dejan’s league debut for Koper since last week’s scheduled game versus Celje was postponed.

Italy, Serie B, Bologna – Latina 0:0
Stefan Ristovski played all 90 minutes for Latina in the goalless road draw against Bologna. Ristovski continues to be fielded in right midfield with a lot of freedom to also play on the right wing.

Nikola Jakimovski began on the bench for Varese before he made an appearance in the 70th minute to replace Andrea Cristiano, while his teammate Mensur Kurtishi played the complete 2nd half after coming on at halftime to substitute Luca Miracoli. Varese remains tied for last place in Italy’s second division.

Denmark, DBU Pokalen, SønderjyskE – Brøndby 4:2
Ferhan Hasani did not make the matchday squad of Brøndby. The reason given was that the Danish club has a busy schedule, so the manager did not want to overwork Hasani given his injury history. This cup match was tied at 2:2 after 90 minutes, but SønderjyskE scored two goals in extra time to eliminate Brøndby.

Turkey, Ziraat Türkiye Kupası, Galatasaray – Manisaspor 4:0
Goran Pandev played the entire game for Galatasaray and scored two goals in the 68th and 88th minute. Both of his goals came on headers, something that Pandev is not known for. Goran has now scored 7 goals in his eight Turkish Cup appearances this season. However, he continues to be ignored in league play.

Hungary, Magyar Kupa, Videoton – Pécs 2:1
Mirko Ivanovski started for Videoton and played until the 67th minute when he made way for István Kovács. Ivanovski lined up in attacking midfield in his team’s 4-2-3-1 formation.

Enis Bardhi opened on the bench for Újpest before he came on at the start of the 2nd half to replace Dusan Vasiljevic.

Russia, Kubok Russia, CSKA Moskva – Krylia Sovetov 1:0
Adis Jahovikj played the entire game for Krylia Sovetov and also picked up a yellow card in the 85th minute. With the loss, Krylia Sovetov was eliminated from the Russian Cup.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Winterthur – Schaffhausen 2:1
Ezgjan Alioski started at left-back for Schaffhausen and played all 90 minutes in the slim road defeat against Winterthur.

Cyprus, Coca-Cola Cup, Ermis – AEL Limassol 1:1
Martin Bogatinov played from the start for Ermis and conceded one goal in the 90th minute, while his teammate Besart Ibraimi also took part in the full match. Ermis was eliminated from the Cypriot Cup by losing 1:2 on aggregate as the late goal that Bogatinov conceded prevented this game from going into extra time.

Valmir Nafiu made his first start for APOEL by playing 78 minutes in the goalless draw versus Anorthosis. The return leg of this quarter-final match-up will take place next week.

Romania, Liga I, Rapid București – Viitorul 0:0
Boban Nikolov was not among the 18 players called up by Viitorul.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Skenderbeu – Tirana 1:0
Aco Stojkov opened on the bench for Skenderbeu before he was introduced in the 60th minute to take the place of Dhiego Martins, while Kire Ristevski played the complete match for Tirana and also received a yellow card in the 75th minute. Skenderbeu would score the lone in the 66th minute, via a converted penalty kick, to snatch all three points.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Partizani – Flamurtari 2:1
Ardian Cuculi played all 90 minutes for Partizani who collected a come from behind victory after trailing 0:1 at halftime. As for Flamurtari, Nijaz Lena played 75 minutes before he made way for Vukasin Tomic, while his teammate Yani Urdinov came off the bench in the 57th minute to substitute Baco Nikolic.

Azerbaijan, Azerbaycan Kuboku, Qarabağ – Bakı 3:0
Muarem Muarem started for Qarabağ and played until the 69th minute when he was replaced by Danilo Dias. Qarabağ gave itself a nice lead heading into the return leg of this match-up in mid-March.
