Midweek internationals performances

Nedzipi (L) during the Partizani vs. Bylis game; photo: panorama-sport.comNderim Nedzipi converted a penalty kick for Partizani, Goran Pandev and Napoli suffered a narrow loss in their first leg matchup against Porto in the Europa League, while Mirko Ivanovski made his first start for Astra in league play since October of last year.

UEFA Europa League, Round of 16, Porto – Napoli 1:0
Goran Pandev opened on the bench for Napoli before he entered the game in the 79th minute replacing José Callejón.  Pandev created a chance for Napoli in stoppage time of the 90th minute with a good cross, but his teammate Duván Zapata was wasteful in front of goal and squandered a quality opportunity.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Astra – Pandurii 2:0
Mirko Ivanovski played the opening 45 minutes for Astra before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Yazalde.  Ivanovski attempted one shot in the 12th minute that went wide of the Pandurii goal.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Dinamo București – Corona Braşov 1:0
Kristijan Naumovski remained on the bench for Dinamo București as the #2 keeper behind Cristian Bălgrădean.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Winterthur – Schaffhausen 1:1
Both Ezgjan Alioski and Deni Krleski were unused substitutes for Schaffhausen.

Azerbaijan, Azərbaycan kuboku, Araz – Khazar Lankaran 1:1
Dejan Blazhevski was an unused substitute for Khazar Lankaran, while his teammate Nikola Gligorov got the start in midfield and played until the 58th minute when he made way for Zouhir Benouahi.

Azerbaijan, Azərbaycan kuboku, Gabala – Qarabağ 0:0
Muarem Muarem started for Qarabağ and played until the 61st minute when he was replaced by fellow midfielder Marinaldo Silva.

Azerbaijan, Azərbaycan kuboku, Inter Bakı – Neftçi 1:1
Both Igor Mitreski of Neftçi and Slavcho Georgievski of Inter Bakı were unused substitutes for their respective teams.

Azerbaijan, Azərbaycan kuboku, Ravan – Bakı 0:1
Edin Nuredinoski stayed on the bench for Bakı as the #2 keeper behind Aqil Mammadov.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Widzew Łódź – Lech Poznań 2:2
Yani Urdinov started at left-back for Widzew Łódź and played all 90 minutes in the home draw against Lech Poznań.  Widzew Łódź came from two goals down to notch a hard earned point.

Bulgaria, Kupa na Bulgaria, Lokomotiv Sofia – Chernomorets 1:0
Aleksandar Damchevski played the entire game for Chernomorets who lost the first leg of their quarter-final matchup against Lokomotiv Sofia in the Bulgarian Cup.

Cyprus, Coca-Cola Cup, Ermis – AEK Larnaca 2:0
Armend Alimi started in midfield for Ermis and played until the 77th minute when he was substituted by Giannis Okkas.  Alimi had the first quality chance for Ermis in the 4th minute, but his shot went just wide of the goal.  In the 77th minute, due to objects being thrown on the field, the match was interrupted for 16 minutes.  Then, in the 93rd minute, the game resumed with 16 more minutes to complete the encounter.  Alimi was replaced during the interruption as Okkas took his place when play resumed in the 93rd minute for the final 16 minutes.  With the win, Ermis reached the semi-finals of the Cypriot Cup.

Greece, Football League, Panegialios – Paniliakos 1:0
Marjan Altiparmakovski played all 90 minutes for Paniliakos in the narrow road defeat against Panegialios.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Partizani – Bylis 2:0
Nderim Nedzipi and Mevlan Murati played the entire game for Partizani, while their teammate Ertan Demiri also got the start and played until the 61st minute when he was replaced by Behar Maliqi.  Nedzipi scored the second and final goal for Partizani in the 44th minute when he converted a penalty to help his team down Bylis.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Besa – Flamurtari 3:1
Nijaz Lena played all 90 minutes for Flamurtari who conceded all three goals in the opening half to suffer the road loss against Besa.
