Midweek internationals performances (14-16.08 ’18)

Trichkovski celebrated a hat-trick as Avramovski scored one goal in the Europa league. Ademi and Nikolov continue the fight for entering the Champions League group stage, while Elmas got eliminated.

UEFA Champions League, Croatia Dinamo – Kazakhstan Astana 1:0 (3:0 agg.)
Captain Arijan Ademi played the whole game for the Croatian champion. His team will now face Swiss champion Young Boys for entering the group stage.

UEFA Champions League, Turkey Fenerbahçe – Portugal Benfica 1:1 (1:2 agg.)
Elif Elmas picked up a yellow card in the 22nd minute and played the full 90 minutes for Fener. His team faced elimination and will continue in the Europa League.

UEFA Champions League, Hungary Vidi – Sweden Malmö 0:0 (1:1 agg.)
Boban Nikolov started and was substituted by Máté Pátkai 5 minutes from time. His Vidi advances on away goal rule and will play against Greek side AEK in the play-offs.

UEFA Europa League, Cyprus AEK – Austria Sturm 5:0 (7:0 agg.)
Both Ivan Trichkovski and Daniel Mojsov played the whole game for AEK. Trichko was the hero of his team as he scored a hat-trick. He first broke the dead lock in the 8th minute, in the 67th scored for 3:0, while ten minutes from time scored his team’s fourth goal. AEK will face Trenčín in the play-offs.

UEFA Europa League, Finland HJK – Slovenia Olimpija 1:4 (1:7 agg.)
Daniel Avramovski played the whole match for Olimpija and doubled the lead in the 72nd minute. His team will now face Slovak side Spartak in the play-offs.

UEFA Europa League, Albania Kukësi – Georgia Torpedo 2:0 (4:5 agg.)
Edis Malikji played the full 90 minutes for the hosts who despite the win got eliminated.

UEFA Europa League, Italy Atalanta – Israel Hapoel Haifa 2:0 (6:1 agg.)
Risto Mitrevski played the whole game for the Israeli side who was powerless against the Serie A team.

UEFA Europa League, Denmark Brøndby – Serbia Spartak 2:1 (3:1 agg.)
Benjamin Demir wasn’t in Spartak’s team as he isn’t registered for playing internationally. Nevertheless, his team got knocked out.

UEFA Europa League, Romania Steaua – Croatia Hajduk 2:1 (2:1 agg.)
Mirko Ivanovski first got booked in the 58th minute and later in the 73rd minute was taken off for Michele Šego while his team was losing 1:0. Mirko and Hajduk farewelled the Europa League.

UEFA Europa League, France Bordeaux – Ukraine Mariupol 2:1 (5:2 agg.)
Besir Demiri played the entire game for the eliminated Ukrainian team.

UEFA Europa League, Croatia Rijeka – Norway Sarpsborg 08 0:1 (1:2 agg.)
Leonard Zhuta played the whole game for Rijeka while his teammate Darko Velkovski is still recovering from the injury. Zhuta also got a yellow card in the 75th minute. Their team was surprisingly defeat at home and eventually eliminated.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Željezničar – Sarajevo 2:2
Krste Velkoski played the whole match for the visiting team in this Bosnian derby.

Japan, Meiji Yasuda J1 League, Yokohama F·Marinos – Nagoya Grampus Eight 1:2
David Babunski for the last time wasn’t summoned by Yokohama. A day after the match he announced that he is leaving the club.

Slovenia, Pokal Slovenije, Turnišče – Krško 0:8
Milan Ristovski came in from the bench twenty minutes from time taking the place of Ester Sokler when the score was 0:6. His team easily advanced from the opening round of the Slovenian Cup.
