Benjamin Kantarovski and Jason Naidovski eliminated Slavco Georgievski and so along with Stevica Ristić advanced into the next round of the Asian Champions League. Goran Pandev probably played his last game for the Biancocelesti, Zlatko Tanevski won the Polish Cup, while the trio in Austria (Sedloski, Naumoski, Stjepanović) came back with an important away win and now is only a point away from avoiding relegation.

Asia Champions League, Group E: Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i (South Korea) – Newcastle Jets (Australia) 0:1
Ben Kantarovski played the whole game and got a yellow card in the 56th minute as the Jets surprised Ulsan away and advanced into the 1/8 finals. Slavco Georgievski played the whole game for the home team, while Jason Naidovski didn’t play for the Jets as he is injured.

Asia Champions League, Group H: Kawasaki Frontale (Japan) – Pohang Steelers (South Korea) 0:2
Stevica Ristić played until the 64th minute when Ryu Chan-Ghyun took his place. The Steelers beat Kawasaki away and won the first place in their group.

In the 1/8 finals the Macedonians in the Asian Champions League will face again. Now Stevica Ristić with his Pohang Steelers will play Benjamin Kantarovski’s and Jason Naidovski’s team Newcastle Jets.

Italy, Serie A, Lazio – Reggina 1:0
Goran Pandev played the full 90 minute for Lazio and got a yellow card in the 71st minute which means that he is suspended for the next round that is actually the last in the Serie A.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Rapid Wien – Mattersburg 2:3
Goce Sedloski played the whole game, while in the 58th minute Ostoja Stjepanović came in instead Ilco Naumoski who got a yellow card early in the 3rd minute. Stjepanović also got a yellow card but in the 71st minute. With this away win, Mattersburg is very close to staying in the best Austrian league.
