The 4 winners that clinched a spot in the quarter-finals are Arncliffe Scots, Queanbeyan City, Cringila Lions and Wollongong United.

Unlike the previous editions, this time no teams were eliminated at the conclusion of the group stage.  Instead, all teams that ended 2nd and 3rd in their groups were then ranked in one group by the principle of 1st vs. 8th, 2nd vs. 7th, and so on.  The 4 winners of those matchups would move on to the quarter-finals to face the 4 group winners.
