Martin Bogatinov will leave Karpaty

Goalkeeper Martin Bogatinov will be transfer listed by Karpaty during the January transfer window since he is not in the plans of the manager.

Karpaty Lviv returns from vacation on 9 January 2012 but Martin Bogatinov is not expected to be on the team for long as he will be transfer listed by the Ukrainian club.  He is not in the plans of the Karpaty manager Pavel Kucherov who preferred Andriy Tlumak as the starting keeper plus the club is expected to bring back youngster Roman Mysak in January so there was simply no room for Bogatinov.  Therefore, Martin will be available for other clubs who may have a need at keeper.  After being named the best player in the domestic league of Macedonia in 2010, Bogatinov soon transferred to Karpaty during the 2011 January transfer window.  He became a regular starter upon his arrival at Karpaty but then lost his place early this season.  After that point, Martin was not even on the bench for numerous games so leaving Karpaty seems to be the best decision for both parties.

Bogatinov made a total of 15 league appearances for Karpaty after he arrived at the club from Rabotnicki.  He will look to latch on with another team where he would become the regular starting keeper.  Due to a lack of playing time with Karpaty, Bogatinov recently lost his starting spot on the Macedonian national team to Tome Pacovski.  As a matter of fact, in the last match against Albania in mid November, Bogatinov was the third keeper behind Pacovski and Edin Nuredinoski.
