Striker Borche Manevski is on the verge of completing his transfer to Chainat after undergoing medical tests today.
The soon to be 29-year-old Borche Manevski is close to joining Mario Gjurovski and Darko Tasevski in Thailand’s league after undergoing medical tests with Chainat earlier today. If everything checks out on the medical, then Manevski will be presented as the newest signing for Chainat. He had already agreed financial terms with the Thai top division club.
Borche was brought over to Thailand by Aleksandar Bajevski, a former footballer who is now joining the agent ranks. Bajevski worked with another agent in Dejan Vukadinovic from the GDMSPORT agency to enter negotiations with Chainat for Manevski.
There is no question that the play of Gjurovski and Tasevski will open doors for more Macedonian players in Thailand. Manevski is nearing 30, so he was looking for a good financial offer to depart Rabotnichki, the defending champion in Macedonia. Chainat provided that good offer which Manevski accepted.
Chainat finished last season in 10th place, and thus far in the 2014 campaign they find themselves in 14th place. Manevski will be tasked with improving an attack that has scored just 20 goals in 17 league games.
