With every coming month, Macedonia is closer to the 100th spot. April welcomes us on 85th place.

FIFA/Coca-Cola ranking list for April was announced today and once again does not bring joy for Macedonian national team. 

The defeat to Ireland cost Macedonia 2 places and the team is now ranked 85th.

Macedonia’s opponents in the qualifiers, Russia, are 5 places lower comparing to last month. They are on 18th place now, Slovakia are 27th, Ireland 34th, Armenia 62nd and Andorra 202nd.

On the Balkans, Albania noted a fantastic 23 places jump and are now in the top 50. Macedonia continues to be worst-ranked on the Balkans and one of the worst in Europe.
