Macedonian squad for match vs Iceland announced

 Srečko Katanec, the coach of the Macedonian national team, announced the 19-men squad for the World Cup 2010, Group 9 qualification match away to Iceland.

Aleksandar Vasoski and Aco Stojkov are back in the squad, while the only new name is Daniel Mojsov, the defender from Makedonija GjP and former regular member of the Macedonian U21 national team. Ilco Naumoski is out of the squad because of yellow cards and Goran Popov is injured.

Goalkeepers: Petar Milosevski (Enosis Neon Paralimni FC, CYP), Tome Pacovski (FK Vardar Skopje).

Defenders: Goce Sedloski (SV Mattersburg, AUT),  Igor Mitreski (FC Energie Cottbus, GER), Vlade Lazarevski (Polonia Warsaw, POL), Nikolce Noveski (1. FSV Mainz 05, GER), Robert Petrov (Panserraikos FC, GRE), Boban Grncarov (Maccabi Petah Tikva, ISR), Aleksandar Vasoski (Eintracht Frankfurt, GER), Daniel Mojsov (Makedonija Gjorce Petrov).

Midfielders: Vlatko Grozdanoski (FK Vojvodina Novi Sad, SER), Darko Tasevski (PFC Levski Sofia, BUL), Artim Polozani (FK Vardar Skopje), Vanco Trajanov (FC Chernomorec, BUL), Velice Sumulikoski (Ipswich Town FC, ENG).

Strikers: Goran Pandev (S.S. Lazio, ITA), Goran Maznov (FC Tom Tomsk, RUS), Stevica Ristić (Pohang Steelers, KOR), Aco Stojkov (Nyíregyháza Spartacus, HUN).

The match will be played on 15/10/2008 in Reykjavik.
