Drita was officially promoted to the First league, Pelister collected an important win over Miravci, while Ohrid Lote didn’t travel once again for an away match.
Drita only played a goalless draw against already relegated side Osogovo in Kochani, but the one point was enough for Drita to be officially promoted to the First League. In so doing, this was the first time in the club’s history that they will participate in the top flight of Macedonian football.
Meanwhile, Pelister came one step closer to also winning direct promotion by defeating third placed Miravci 2:1 at home. Pelister has a game in hand and if they are awarded an automatic 3:0 win over Ohrid Lote, as expected, then the Bitola based club will mathematically return to the top division as well. Two rounds ago, Ohrid Lote failed to show up for the away game to Pelister, just as they failed to show up for today’s road game, so FFM will likely award automatic wins in both instances.
Skopje collected a hard fought victory against Gostivar, while Gorno Lisiche celebrated a convincing and humiliating 7:1 road win over Vlazrimi. Both of those results mean that Skopje and Gorno Lisiche are now tied for fourth place on the table, trailing third placed Miravci by just one point. The teams that finish in 3rd and 4th place will participate in the promotion play-offs against the 9th and 10th placed teams from the First League, so this will be a tight race to determine which two teams will secure those positions.
Pobeda Junior marked an important win over Makedonija Gjorche Petrov to get out of the relegation zone for the time being as their place was taken by Korab who lost to Tikvesh in Kavadarci. With Vlazrimi’s home defeat this round, the team from Kichevo has only slim chances of avoiding the drop.
