Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Mainz 05 – Schalke 04 0:1
Nikolce Noveski played the entire game as this was his 200th league appearance for Mainz. Schalke 04 were awarded a penalty in the 8th penalty although replays clearly showed that Mainz defender Christian Fuchs fouled Jefferson Farfan just outside of the penalty box but the referee pointed to the spot and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar took the penalty but he hit the post and the score remained at 0:0. Schalke 04 scored the only goal of the game in the 30th minute and the Mainz RB was at fault as a Schalke player went past him easily before he made a low cross in the penalty area and the first shot was blocked but Farfan scored on the rebound. Noveski picked up a yellow card in the 75th minute as Mainz also missed a penalty in the 2nd half after André Schürrle’s penalty was saved by Manuel Neuer.
Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Köln – Eintracht Frankfurt 1:0
Oka Nikolov did not play for Eintracht Frankfurt because of an injury that will keep him on the sidelines for six weeks while Aleksandar Vasoski started in his third consecutive game and played all 90 minutes. The only goal of the game was scored by Köln in the 56th minute but the Eintracht keeper should have done better as the shot by Christian Clemens from just outside of the box went under the arms of the diving keeper who showed delayed reaction skills although he did make a great save from a powerful header by Adam Matuszczyk following a corner kick in the 43rd minute.

Dragan Georgiev was not called up by Paderborn.
Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Mattersburg – Austria Wien 1:2
Ilco Naumoski started for Mattersburg and played until the 72nd minute when he was replaced by Robert Waltner. In the 61st minute, Austria Wien defender Aleksandar Dragovic picked up his second yellow card of the game and Naumoski hit the post from the resulting free kick as the keeper was beat but he was saved by the crossbar. Naumoski was eligible to play in this game as the kit manager that he allegedly punched could still not be interviewed because of his injuries so Naumoski played in the final game before the long winter break in Austria.

Boban Grncarov played the entire game for APOEL while his teammate Ivan Trickovski also got the start and played until the 71st minute when he was replaced by Ailton Almeida.

Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Ethnikos Achnas and kept a clean sheet, Vance Sikov also got the start and played the entire game at CB, Stojan Ignjatov did not play because of an injury, while Filip Ivanovski was an unused substitute. Nuredinoski and Sikov also picked up yellow cards.

Petar Milosevski played all 90 minutes for Enosis Neon Paralimni and kept a clean sheet, Krste Velkoski was an unused substitute, while Bojan Markoski was not called up because of an injury.

Agim Ibraimi was not among the 18 players called up by Eskişehirspor who picked up an impressive win over Turkish giants Beşiktaş who are coached by former Real Madrid manager Bernd Schuster.

Muhamed Demiri was an unused substitute for Thun while youngster Dino Najdoski was not called up by Bellinzona. Demiri will make his debut for the Macedonian national team against China on the 22nd of December while Najdoski has yet to be called up by Bellinzona this season after joining them in the summer.

Samir Fazli started on the bench for Heerenveen before he entered the game in the 89th minute replacing Mika Väyrynen as his team got a convincing win against the defending champions in the Netherlands.

Both Igor Mitreski and Slavco Georgievski played the entire game for Neftçi who suffered a surprising loss at home against FK Bakı as Mitreski also received a yellow card in the 83rd minute.

Mensur Kurtisi started on the bench for Al-Taawon before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Ahmad Al Harbi. Kurtisi scored the first goal for his team in the 62nd minute from a penalty but it wasn’t enough as the game ended in a draw and both teams had to settle for a point.
